The #MeToo Movement and Anti-Harassment Training for Startups 

The #METOO movement has brought workplace harassment out of the shadows and into the spotlight. The movement has made it incredibly clear that existing anti-harassment training and the "out of the box" compliance trainings of the past have proven ineffective at keeping employees safe and harassment out of the workplace. NPN Consulting is proud to offer a brand new training specifically for startups on the topics of harassment, discrimination, and inclusiveness. Our class is designed specifically for small teams and aims to make the topics relevant and personal to startup employees and workplaces.

Inclusion and Anti-Harassment Training for Startups is a highly interactive and collaborative course. It meets all of the requirements of the new legislation and laws concerning New York employers. Our training is two fold, it aims to ensure your employees understand the laws around discrimination and harassment at work, but also asks them to grow as people. A major goal of the training is to help employees to be more inclusive, thoughtful, and empathetic at work. 

We completely customize our content and adjust our presentation style to your company's people and culture. For starters we host the course in person, either in your office or at an offsite location convenient to your team. We definitely make a point to be clear as to what is defined as acceptable and unacceptable behavior in the workplace, but we also challenge employees to think beyond just the basics of "do and don't." We strive to help employees expand their empathy and grow competencies relating to emotional intelligence. We want your workplace to be compliant, but that is not enough, we want your workplace to be inclusive. How do we do this? We facilitate a dialogue that personalizes these topics and give employees the tools, skills, and share the behaviors that empowers them to become agents of inclusiveness in your workplace and ambassadors to the greater startup community.
